Grape Variety: Viura (Macabeo).
Vineyard: 65 years old vines from Labastida region (Rioja, northern Spain).
Ageing: 15 months in French oak barrels.
In appearance: Deep gold, clean and bright.
On the nose: It is a spectacular wine, intense and extremely complex. On the nose shows peach liquor, candied apricot, honey, white flowers, raisins and fresh herbs. Hints of pastries, yeasts and nuts are also appreciated, as a result of the long and patient ageing in the barrel. It is advisable to decant a few hours before the tasting.
On the palate: It is dry, complex, with a pleasant and elegant mouth filling sensation that reminds peach liqueur, pastry notes and nuts. It has certain smoothness and long aftertaste.
Food Pairing: Cheese,seafood ,paella, poultry and sauces.
The Wine in a few words: A great white wine of Viura, complex but very elegant.
