Grape Variety: Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo).
Vineyards: Trellised 80 years old vines planted at 750 meters height in Morales de Toro (D.O. Toro), fermented by indigenous yeast.
Ageing: 15 months in new French oak barrels.
Production: 12.000 bottles.
In appearance: Deep ruby with purple highlights and visible legs.
On the nose: Intense aromas of ripe forest fruits over a background of quality notes from the oak, as toffee, cedar, leather and liquorice.
On the palate: It is a serious, elegant, and structured and mouth filling wine, that expresses itself in a wonderful way its outstanding structure of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. Decanting is recommended to allow the wine displays all its complexity and expression.
Food Pairing: Steak, Stews, Deer, Wild Pork.
The wine in a few words: A great example of a Toro Wine. Powerful, fleshy but elegant.
