Grape Variety: Tempranillo.
Vineyards: 24 years old vines planted at 950 meters over the sea level, in Valtiendas (IGP Valtiendas). Ungrafted plants and round gravelly soil.
Ageing: 16 months in French oak barrels.
In appearance: Deep and lively ruby with garnet flashes.
On the nose: Great intensity, notes of berries and rose petals, with hints of eucalyptus, chocolate and a mineral touch. It is recommended to decant.
On the palate: Tasty and expressive, endowed with a good presence of fruit as plums or currants, liquorice, lactic and mineral notes; all accompanied by well integrated notes from the oak. The aftertaste is long.
Food Pairing: Steak, stews, Spanish ham and chesses.
